Sophisticated design features combined with superior Goose Down result in sleeping bags of unrivalled warmth. The best of the best, the Specialist Boxfoot Series with oven door foot design allows ventilation at the base when you need it and will keep you warm in the most severe alpine conditions anywhere on earth. The bag is 600 grams of premium goose down (not duck down) with minimum 750+Fill power loft rating in a water resistant Nylon shell with Hydronaute XT™ down protection. As with all Mont bags, temp ratings are not overstated like some other brands and with a comfort rating of -10c to -4, you can be sure the extreme rating potential of this bag is as low as -20c (depending on individual, metabolism, thermals etc).
Featuring other new patented Radial Arc Baffle System and Radiant Barrier technology, these bags set a new benchmark in sleeping bag technology. The lightweight models are ideal for cool weather hiking and mountaineering. The full length side zip means that, chosen carefully, one of these sleeping bags will be suitable for a wide range of alpine adventures.

Technical information:

Hydronaute XT™ is the only choice when it comes to the protection of your down products from wind and moisture. Hydronaute XT™ has been developed specifically to protect and enhance the performance of sleeping bags and down clothing. It makes the best insulation even better.
The Hydronaute XT™ membrane technology and lamination process is extremely durable and unlike lightly coated or silicon finished products will not diminish so the performance of your down product will be maintained for many years. Protection inside and out
Hydronaute XT™ protects down from moisture on the outside, but it’s on the inside of the bag where Hydronaute XT™ really proves its worth. Moisture vapour produced by the body can condense in the down of the sleeping bag reducing it’s ability to loft. With Hydronaute XT™, moisture vapour is pulled through the membrane via a molecular chain keeping down drier, maintaining loft and ensuring a more comfortable sleep.
Radial ArC Baffle System:
The Radial Arc Baffle System is a trademarked Mont Innovation in sleeping bag design that improves the loft and warmth of a bag. Integral to this system is the relationship between the arc shape of the baffles, the differential cut of inner and outer shells ad the overall difference in dimensions of the canopy and base width.
Each baffle is cut in an arc shaped panel that enhances how the bag forms around the torso. The arc shape reduces the deformation and distortion of the baffle, significantly increasing the loft and warmth of the sleeping bag.
To maximize the radial arc effect, a substantial difference between the circumference of the inner and outer shell must be achieved. This is called differential cut.
To further enhance the performance of the Radial Arc, Mont have increased the width of the canopy so it more effectively forms around the torso. In turn, the width of the base is reduced.
