At a mere 96 grams, the Quad is the lightest in Princeton Tec’s line of regulated-LED headlamps. 4 Ultrabright LEDs power through the darkest conditions. The LEDs are safe forever inside a tough waterproof housing that will survive severe impacts and water submersions up to 1 meter.
The wide beam of the Quad is perfect for tasks around camp and is bright enough for technical scrambles and brisk runs on dark trails. Weight conscious users will love the Quad’s sophisticated circuitry that allows the use of lithium AAA batteries. They reduce the Quad’s weight to 82 grams, perform in extremely cold temperatures, and significantly increase regulated burn times on all modes.

Princeton Tec’s advertised product weights always include batteries. For many products, battery weight is a large percentage of overall weight. Weight can be significantly reduced by using lithium batteries in lithium-compatible products.
WATERPROOF - LEVEL 2
Princeton Tec’s intermediate rating, Level 2, is assigned to lights that offer a degree of water protection equivalent to IPX7 in the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) standards. Lights rated at Level 2 provide waterproof integrity down to 1 meter for up to 30 minutes
REGULATED LED / CONSTANT BRIGHTNESS
Princeton Tec lights that feature regulated LEDs have a sophisticated regulating circuit that maintains initial brightness as long as the batteries have sufficient voltage. Traditional lights are very bright initially, but immediately begin to dim and continue to dim until the batteries are drained. Constant Brightness is a term used to describe products that have regulated LEDs.

Battery Power Meter
The battery power meter provides you with continuous feedback on the condition of the batteries, indicating high, medium or low battery life. This information allows you to make educated decisions about changing batteries or packing spare batteries.

The highest quality LED available, the Ultrabright LED is bright and effi cient. The smooth, white, wide-beam light emitted by Ultrabright LEDs is ideal for close to mid-range tasks. Ultrabright LEDs are usually grouped together to offer a more powerful light source. Advances currently underway will continue to improve the effi ciency and brightness of Ultrabright LEDs.
