An independent scientific study* has thrown more light onto the lightweight water treatment debate. The study reveals why SteriPEN is the safest choice in the plethora of devices that travelers and wilderness enthusiasts have to choose from to render drinking water safe.
Alarmingly, the study shows that most of the chemicals and treatment devices that reportedly claim to effectively treat water infected with Cryptosporidium type organisms are not in fact effective.
