After 25 years of designing technical hiking and travel packs, EPE has developed the BackCare™ range of backpacks. This range has been designed by experts to distribute the load correctly across the back and waist, which is turn places less strain on the shoulders and spine.

NEW MODEL! Part of EPE Global's Metropolis collection, the Torino is one of the flagship EPE models and a breakthrough design in travel Packs that features many innovative designs.
The Torino is a feature packed expandable travel pack which has an expandable main compartment which adds 10L capacity. The bag has a heavy duty zip that runs all the way around the bag which when zipped compresses the bag to 75L. In addition it has an external compression system which can further reduce the pack size for light loads, airport travel or storage. If you want the full pack size you simply unzip the expander and you have a massive 85L main pack. This is a great feature that makes the Torino and its uses so much more diverse than normal bags.
In addition the Torino daypack has a solid EVA backing on the front side which provides protection for both daypack and main pack when attached.
There is also a large front zip sleeve pocket on the main pack when the daypack is removed for quick easy storage - an exclusive feature not seen on many travel packs in the past!
Every detailed part of this pack has been constructed flawlessly with top end bullet proof materials such Duraflex buckles, Lockable No #10 YKK zippers and double stitching and reinforcement in key areas especially the reinforced side haul handle.
Made from hardcore 1000 denier Polytech which makes it super strong and water resistant. Add to this the ERGO II harness system with precontoured aluminium stays in the chassis for the optimal weight distribution and you have a pack that just wont fail. Large 25+L daypack is one of the larger detachable packs on market.

About BackCare:
Approximately 80% of us will experience pain or stiffness in the lower back sometime in our lives. There are many reasons why this may occur but having a poorly designed, packed or fitted backpack can lead to real problems.
Back in 2004 EPE started working with COCA, the Chiropractic and Osteopathic College of Australasia, to develop a better backpack harness that can take the load and support the spine better for long periods and hiking.
After more than 12 months of development the SAS Academic ® was created and is now being used on selected high performance packs from EPE. We are proud to launch BackCare™, our trust mark that guarantees any pack that carries the logo has been evaluated and endorsed by COCA.
About COCA:
The Chirporactic and Osteopathic Colleague of Australasia is a non-profit organisation that provides high quality continuing education to members.
Membership is open to registered Chiropractors, Osteopaths and related health care practioners as well as students of Chiropractic or Osteopathy who are enrolled in an approved Australian educational institution.
