With 2.5cm of solid, diamond cut open-cell laminated foam, the Ultralite self-inflating mat is as light as full size mats come at only 660 grams and warm and comfortable for all your alpine trips. Made from 75D Ripstop Nylon and insulated with solid, laminated Open-Cell foam which is 2.5cm thick. Height is 183cm and width is 51cm. Pack size of 28 x12cm.
Although the Ultralite is lightweight, the mat has enough padding to make for adequate sleeping comfort. An anatomical shape makes the mat wider at the head and shoulders. A good choice for fast movers and those with an eye on lighter weight travel. Highly water resistant, the Ultralite's build is rugged and should stand up to all sorts of on trail abuse.
Bonded self-inflating mats are the most comfortable, insulating and compact able bedding to take camping. Trekkers, hikers, motor cycle tourers and space conscious campers can enjoy the luxurious comfort these offer. Inside there is open-cell foam bonded to the outer shell. The foam has a memory, so when you unroll the mat and undo the valve the foam returns to it's lofted state and sucks air in while it does so. You can then add a puff or two to suit the comfort you desire, then close the valve and have a restful nights sleep.
