The last piece of the puzzle – or your first Flirt medal…
Flirt with Dirt has been all about connecting with nature and you can’t get much closer to unique Australian flora and fauna than at Coombabah Lakelands Conservation Park. You’ll have plenty of spectator support at this event with kangaroos aplenty and even a few more shy koalas overseeing the action!
• Race Precinct – Coombabah Lakelands Event Precinct
• Race day schedule, distances and categories:

• The live results will show the category results for the age groups (these mirror school competition categories and standard trail run categories for the adults).
• There will also be an OPEN category for everyone ABOVE the correct age for distances 4k and above.
• Anyone choosing to race ‘up’ in distance (more than their standard championship distance) will fall into the next available category.
We will have small wave starts for each event to keep group sizes down so we don’t startle the nearby kangaroos and to keep everyone CovidSafe!
Spectators are welcome but we ask that you complete the screening questionnaires upon arrival and spread out on the course rather than congregating on the finish line. The Park is still open to other users and we ask that you respect those who are also enjoying the facility. Have a good run, have some fun but please at all times, take care of this amazing natural resource as well as the plants, trees and creatures that call it home!
There will be designated parking for the event to the west of the start area, please utilise this space and DO NOT park directly behind the air field.
There will be bottled water available on the 6km loop and a table for personal needs table available near the start/finish for those racing in distances of more than one loop. There will be no water available for the 2km event (but some waiting at the finish)!
As per our other races; the focus remains on fun but racing is fun too and an important skill to learn! Being our grand final we will acknowledge those who execute a good race and finish in the top three of their category with a special Flirt with Dirt medal!
Being our finale; we’ll be going all out to end our inaugural Series on a high. There’ll be a complimentary gift from our new partners fisiocrem, a BOOST voucher to enjoy a FREE Original Size Crush from either Harbourtown or Pacific Fair stores (no need to rush off either; you have until November 1 to use it) and whatever else we can dream up in the next month that is COVIDSafe!
Your Athlete Information Guide will be available on October 10th. More detail regarding the event will be included in this guide.
