Germs begone!By: William on 11 April 2018Having contracted giardia from a water supply that shouldn't have had it, I'm not taking chances again. This is a clever little beast and well designed. My only complaint is that the optional filter should be supplied as standard with this pack. The odds are that you'll need to use it anyway, so why Camelbak haven't included it is a mystery. Otherwise, I'm happy with it.
Too easy!!!By: Annette Walsh on 30 August 2017Just back from Nepal. 100% used for 21 days. Home without having any sickness. Doubled treated all water because it is so easy to use.
Camelbac UV water purifierBy: Richard martyn on 24 May 2017My wife and I just returned home from two months in Sri Lanka and we didn't have to buy any bottled water. The camelbac UV water purifier allows us to drink tap water when we travel OS. Its nice to think your helping to save he planet, even in a small way by not using plastic bottled water. We also spent two months in Nepal last year and only had to buy bottled water at Everest base camp, because everything else was frozen, creeks included. If every traveler from developed countries, visiting undeveloped countries used these, or some similar product, then we would really be helping the plastic waste problem, l think.
My review of the Camelbak all clear UV water bottlBy: Paul Gilmore on 5 December 2016We used this amazing bit of kit after seeing our walking guides in Tasmania use it for purifying stream water. Great invention for just that reason. Very portable and is just the size of a normal drinks bottle. Just fill up with clear fresh water from a natural source and switch on the UV light purifier to remove micro-organisms. Quick, simple and effective in our use. Amazing invention for out-door enthusiasts like us.
Perfect companionBy: Elisabeth Dumitriu on 21 October 2016Perfect companion for our overnight hiking trip through Lamington National Park. Always had fresh water within seconds of getting to a creek. Light and compact, and with 80 cycles per battery life, no need to carry extra portable charger. Only thing that would be better is if the uv purifier lid screwed on to generic wide mouth bottle, so you don't have to transfer the water from the camelback bottle into other bottles.
