Great youth packBy: Sam on 29 July 2019I bought this on special for my tall, skinny son who is in scouts and does regular overnight hikes. The adjustment range on the harness is excellent, yet the weight of the pack is still quite reasonable as was the price. As the scout troop doesn't have super compact stoves and tents, a big pack was needed to carry his gear. This is one of the few packs available in Australia suitable for this age group as youth shoot up in height once they hit their teenage growth spurt and outgrow packs for short torsos rapidly. Dispatched quickly by Wild Earth. My only complaint is why is the description in imperial measurements! It world be so much easier to understand in metric.
Fabulous hiking pack for teenagerBy: Penny Hodges on 26 March 2019My 12 year old loves this hiking backpack. He needed a 70-80L pack for a week long school camping trip and this pack is great as we could adjust it to his size and the pack wasn’t too heavy . Also love the elasticated large rear pocket to have raincoat at the ready and the two elasicated side pockets for water bottles. Can not fault this pack!
Osprey ace 75 kids hiking pack- perfection!By: Tori on 22 March 2017Purchased this pack for my taller-than-average 9yo son. I was worried it might be too big but when he put it on i had to adjust the height to make it taller! He loved it and took it off on a camp - it fit enough stuff in it without being overloaded and he found it easy and comfortable to carry.
My son loves this pack!By: Mark Smith on 4 March 2017Great buy, fantastic pack, Osprey just know their stuff. Wildearth service and order fulfilment were outstanding.
By: Liza on 2 July 2016My 13 yr old had the smaller Opsrey kids pack (45 litres) and was really happy with it. It was getting a bit small for a 3 day Green Cord Scout hike, so we upgraded to the 75 litre pack. The same fabulous quality. Only thing he misses is the pouch on the strap to store a torch, that was really handy on the previous model. My son reports its a really comfy pack with lots of padding, very comfortable to waer for days at a time on long hikes. As an aside the 45 litre old pack which was filthy dirty from many hikes scrubbed up like new in the bath and his 11 year old brother is now using it, it looks like brand new. Love Opsrey's quality and also love their new hydration bladders so much easier for kids to fill, clean and dry
