Weighing only 67 grams including pot support and WINNER of the Outdoor Industry award 2013 The WindMaster is superior under windy conditions. Micro regulator provides consistent output and built-in ignitor ensure lighting even in windy or wet conditions. How does it work? As normal burners heats up, the temperature inside the cylinder cools down. Cooling of the cylinder decreases the internal pressure, thus reducing the burners output. To resolve this dilemma, SOTO has developed a Micro Regulator has been integrated into these single burner stoves. As a result SOTO produces a consistent output in all weather conditions without sacrificing size Comes with a 3 prong pot support to suit both small or large pots for group cooking. Choose the pot support that best meets your need and simply replace the pot support depending on the need.No tools required. Do It All StoveBy: Jacob Forker-Freeman on 15 July 2019This is hands down the best hiking stove I have ever used. Super small and lightweight and although I had my doubts it is actually really stable considering how small the stove is. I've used this stove in conditions ranging from warm 35 degree summer days to 2 degree winter nights with strong winds blowing and even without a windshield this stove has never disappointed or faulted. Cooks amazingly fast and the built in igniter is so handy when often my other friends have to light their stoves with flint and steel! Its also very efficient and a single small canister of gas lasts multiple trips. Overall this stove does everything I expected and more, I don't need any other stove!
A classic productBy: Hannah Chong on 18 November 2018The Soto windmaster is such a wonderful stove, it is ultalightweight and has a small practical ignition button. I took it on a recent camping trip where it was quite windy but the flame stayed strong despite the wind. The water boiled quite quickly. I think it has to do with the clever design of the baseplate. It’s concave surface means that strong wind is being shielded. Everything about this stove is so clever, even the way it’s being packed down. It is also extremely well priced. Apart from my hilleberg tent, this is my best loved hiking item. I have waited about 2months for this product to be available again as it was out of stock for a long time. I bought it straightaway after I received the notification email from WE of its availability. Highly recommend it to anyone buying a lightweight camping stove.
By: Mark Burgess on 28 January 2017Great little stove. Purchased last year for the Overland Track and didn't miss a beat. Previously used the model without the wind protection and loved it so wasn't sure if this would be an upgrade. It definately was worth the money as we encountered all types of weather on the track including snow. The Soto heated everything quickly and sparingly on the gas. This is a great value buy.

Review of Soto windmasterBy: Rebecca Mannix on 14 July 2015I've not had a chance to take it out camping, but got it going at home easily - it's light but appears hard wearing. My issue with this product is that the advertized 4 prong stand for larger pots (and to make smaller one's more stable) is not included. I am unable to find any where in Australia that stocks it, and Wildearth reported that 'the supplier does not import them into the country'. As this is the main feature displayed on the video advertizing the product on Wildearth, this was disappointing.
