Features to look for in a climbing helmet
Lightweight - A lightweight helmet will be less cumbersome and more comfortable when scaling heights. Generally, helmets with foam lining are lighter than hardshell helmets.
Headlamp clips - Most helmets come equipped with clips for attaching your headlamp - a must-have if venturing out at night or climbing in a narrow, dark space. Always make sure your headlamp and helmet are compatible first.
Adjustable design - For superior comfort, look for an adjustable design. When you buckle your chin strap, the front and rear straps should form a "Y" at your ears and there should be no slack in the straps.
