1. Osprey Kids - Talon / Tempest / Daylite
Osprey has great range of kids options including the Tempest/Talon Jr with an 11L capacity and basically a mini-version of the adult style. It is a great option as it involves a hip belt to avoid carrying all the weight on the shoulders. Being more comfortable, kids will be happier to hike longer! The Daylite Jr, with a 9L capacity is greater for smaller day-trips or travel, where a hip belt is not needed.

Some other options and larger capacity depending on the hike/trip/adventure! Sidenote: Most of the kids packs don’t come equipped with a rain cover. A dry bag would do the trick as a ‘pack-liner’ to keep all their valuables inside nice and dry.
