Black Wolf Cuba 65L Travel Pack ReviewBy: Josh James on 2 May 2019I bought this bag last year for travelling, and have been extremely happy with it so far. It was well and truly big enough for a 16 day trip overseas carrying clothes, souvenirs, mozzie net and pillow etc as well as all of my clothes, and the zip-off day pack was also very handy. The pack is very adjustable and comfortable to wear. I highly recommend it. 5 star product!
By: Rob Ballard on 22 January 2018Good comfortable roomy well designed pack, howeverthe belt pocket could be larger and the iPad,/ tablet day pack could be more padded
Impressed!By: Heather Rogers on 24 July 2016After researching backpack design and capacity at competitors we turned to wildearth for purchase as the extensive range and pricing could not be beaten. The free postage and prompt delivery progressed without problem and we were very pleased that the product was the same as what we had seen on-line. Well done team!!
Great valueBy: Jessica Goldsbro on 7 October 2015Just bought this bag for my upcoming trip to Mexico. I spent about half an hour just going through all the features of this bag when it arrived. There are so many pockets and features, it's crazy they can do it for this price. I bought it for the zip on day pack, but was so pleased with the entire bag. I love that it has a wet weather cover built in as it will be wet season when I go. I only gave 4 stars for durability because I haven't been on the trip yet, but it feels well built and sturdy. I'm confident it will be great! Mexico here I come!
Fit for purpose at right priceBy: Cay on 4 October 2015This is my second Cuba 65L and I only got rid of my first because of bad (damp and mouldy) storage. Whilst I did use it for long rough trips including some camping and hiking, it's not a technical hiking pack. That said, I find it very comfortable. Pros - simple and comfortable, zip-around rather than top-loading (which I personally hate), good harness and straps. Cons - a little weighty and not so technical (but it says pretty much that in the description). I do have concerns about different materials being used now, like for the internal lining. It feels cheaper and less durable. Also there's no longer an internal compression strap (only external now), which was great in the older model. The last big point - I wouldn't pay full price for this bag ever. That may sound pretty damning, but find a decent sale price and it's great. Full price, though, and it would have to be a more technical bag.
