Made in Europe.
The Hilleberg Soulo is a 1 person completely free standing solo tent that is both remarkably light and expedition-ready.
Since the Soulo’s free standing construction allows it to be pitched almost anywhere, and since it is remarkably light and tremendously strong, it is ideal for almost any adventure. During its development, nearly every tester found it perfect for whatever trip it was used on. Mountaineers, both recreational and professional, will take to its strength and low weight, as will backcountry hunters and winter campers. Bicycle, motorcycle and paddle tourers will choose it for its free standing simplicity and compact packed size. Backpackers in all seasons, long distance trekkers, and weekend hikers alike will be drawn to its light weight and integrated vestibule, and ski tourers and ski mountaineers will appreciate its snow load handling. Tall users will love its length, and all will appreciate its remarkable overall roominess.
For over 45 years, Hilleberg the Tentmaker has specialized in doing only one thing and doing it well – building the highest quality tents and shelters available. Conceived and developed in northern Sweden, Hilleberg tents are made in Europe, built to last, and offer the ideal balance of high strength, low weight, ease of use, and remarkable comfort. Hilleberg tents have been – and remain – the choice of polar and Himalayan expeditions, military special forces units, and discerning outdoor adventurers the world over. They are the go-to choice both for those who travel deep into the backcountry, in all conditions, and require tents that are utterly dependable, no matter what, as well as for those who just want a tent that will last. Founded in 1971 by Bo and Renate Hilleberg, the company is still family-owned and run. The company owns and operates its own European factory, which makes only Hilleberg products, and every tent is set up and inspected to ensure the ultimate in quality and reliability.
Hilleberg Tents are the first choice of discerning outdoor adventurers the world over.

Hilleberg Soulo - great tentBy: Steve on 27 April 2019I've used my Soulo a number of times now, and feel I know it well enough to review it. The tent is easy to erect, a good size, and storage of gear is great. I fit a 60l pack in the vestibule very comfortably. This tent is seriously strong and waterproof. In a recent storm in Tassie, the tent did not move in scary, blustery winds. It stayed dry in torrential rain, and shed snow easily, all in one night! I have huge confidence in this tent - one thing less to worry about when out in the bush.
Hilleberg Soulo reviewBy: roger on 20 April 2019A simple to erect tent. The instructions from the information booklet were easy to follow and were what made the tent simple to erect. The design is spacious for a one person tent. it is very robust with the three poles. The double guy ropes aid with the stability and reduce the need for extra tent pegs.
By: Neil on 16 November 2015Super easy to pitch, even in wind. Ability to attach the footprint to the tent makes integrated pitching even easier. Sadly not the cheapest option, but 3 hours into comfortably sitting out a tempest, the price is forgotten. If you are anywhere near 6 ft tall and want to be able to sit up inside, this is the tent for you, compared to say the Akto model. Room for gear storage is ok, but a bit limited. Packs up nice and small.
