The Ultra-Light Travel Bra is light-weight, super soft polymide fabric, with all the storage features for passport, cash, credit card and jewelry, as well as wide shoulder straps for comfort, no scratchy labels, no under-wire, flat-lock seams and, to boot, it just looks damn good! This is our Travel Bra model's favourite!
The Ultra-Light comes in Black or Nude, both with our signature stars and globes on the band. The Ultra-Light is designed for comfort and has cup pads that are removable. The shoulder straps are wide and adjustable, while the U-Back fitting with hook and eye offers three sizing adjustment options. There are two drop-down pockets that can store cash and can even stretch to hold a passport. The pockets fold back up under the bra band when not in use and cannot be felt or seen.
There are two hidden jewelry pockets in the shoulder straps for valuable gems or a scan card with precious holiday snaps.
A hidden side sleeve under the arm fits more cash, or a credit card or hotel room key. The patented design of the sleeve ensures the card never falls out.
The adjustable straps, three option hook & eye fit, and with soft, molded cups and removable pads, The Ultra-Light Travel Bra offers an excellent fit.
The Ultra-Light Travel Bra comes in sizes XS, S, M, L. The most important measurement for choosing the correct size is the body size. The cup size is generally secondary to the chest measurement when selecting size. If you are between sizes or C or D bust size, please choose a larger size as the sizing leans towards smaller fit.
USA and UK sizing:
Extra Small (XS) = 30 inches around the chest under the bust; Small (S) = 32 inches; Medium (M) = 34 inches; Large (L) = 36 inches around the chest under the bust. If you are 37 inches around the chest, the Large will fit you by using the last back fitting hook and eye option.
The Travel Bra™ Company was formed in 2015 by Dr Annie Holden. Annie has worked for more than 20 years internationally as an economic anthropologist with Australian Indigenous communities affected by mining projects, with women marble miners in Rajasthan in India, and with women affected by gender-based violence in Papua New Guinea. Her work has often taken her to remote places where there were no ATMs and no hotel room safes (assuming there were even hotels!).
Annie created The Travel Bra™ because she wanted to buy one and couldn’t. Like many solo female travelers, she wanted an alternative to money belts which she finds uncomfortable - not to mention very obvious!. She wanted to feel safe and comfortable when she traveled, in particular for those times when she needed to carry cash to pay field workers or was traveling in places where it was advisable to hide her passport.
