Clif Bars contain between 9-11 grams of protein, 4-5 grams of fiber as well as being a source of carbohydrates to keep you fuelled while you exercise. The inspiration to create an energy bar occurred during a day-long, 175 mile bike ride with my buddy Jay. We’d been gnawing on some “other” energy bars all day. Suddenly, despite my hunger, I couldn’t take another bite. I thought, “I could make a better bar than this!” That’s the moment I now call “The Epiphany.”
Two years later, after countless hours in Mom’s kitchen, the Clif Bar became a reality. And the mission to create a better-tasting energy bar was accomplished. Thanks, Mum!

Not as tasty as oatmealBy: Kate on 21 March 2016These are a good way to get energy for your trip. I prefer the oatmeal flavour. Key here is food is fuel. They are not terribly appetising but do the job in getting you through your adventure
Review of Clif BarsBy: Kath Judge on 18 February 2016Easy to pack and eat for hiking, trail running and riding. Can eat on the move and is easy to chew. Sits very well in my normally easy-to-distress tummy! The choc-chip flavor is yummy but so are ALL the flavors!!!!
