THE NAMMATJ AND NAMMATJ GT are the masters of both high and low country, equally suited for a high altitude expedition or a weekend walk in the local hills. These robust all-season, all-arounders pitch quickly and easily, can be taken down and moved in a flash, yet are far stronger and lighter than any other tent in their class.
Because of their superb strength to weight ratio and compact footprints, both the Nammatj and Nammatj GT have become immensely popular with extreme users, such as polar travelers looking to save weight, mountaineers doing remote routes in the highest ranges, professional guides, and military special forces teams. But these same characteristics are just as highly prized by more “regular” users, as well: backpackers, cycle and paddle tourers, and anyone needing maximum strength while reducing weight.

Hilleberg Nammatj 3GT
By: Sean Taylor on 8 August 2019The Nammatj 3 GT is a fantastic tent for use above the snow line. The moment it arrived from Wildearth the kids and I were out camping in the Backcountry, heaps of room and best of all a masive vestibule. I have used Hilleberg tents for a while now and find them to be exceptional quality.
Nerve wrecking purchase - does everything great!
By: Andrew Mortimer on 1 July 2019Pricey tent, but as often is the case, you get what you pay for. Took this tent backcountry splitboarding for a week on the Main Range in NSW. Fit 3 medium sized dudes in there with no dramas, although it wasn't exactly roomy. The huge vestibule here is the key, and doubled as our kitchen and storage area to throw stuff when we were ready for bed. Seems very bomber, and we woke up to a pretty decent spell of snow and high winds a few times (we did build a solid ice wall around the tent too). When you take into account the price of accommodation at Jindabyne, let alone ski-in ski-out accommodation, this tent and a comfy sleep system are well worth the cost. Pros: Very roomy vestibule Lightweight for what it is Bright red colour is easy to spot when you're sad and miserable and just want to get back to a hot drink! Can actually sleep 3 grown men in it Easily withstood some pretty heavy snow and strong winds Pitch it all as one, so if it's raining or snowing you just throw it up and get inside, don't need to attach a fly. Cons Pricey There is a string across the door way to the vestibule that was a trip hazard - a bit annoying but we just took it off Since we took off the aforementioned string, the zip got a bit tight (the string was holding a pole close to another pole so it was easy to zip) Overall - great tent. Would definitely recommend. Not too sure on durability as I've only had it for 1 year, and in my mind durability is a long term thing, so in 5 years I'll try and remember to pop back.
REVIEW HILLEBERG NAMMATJ 3 GT - 3 PERSON 4 SEASON
By: Peta Purcell on 18 September 2018This tent is high end cost wise, but amazing quality. We used it during our hike last week in the Morton National Park, including Monolith Valley. Epic!
