The legendary OPTIMUS NOVA is the benchmark for todays multifuel expedition stoves.
This award winning workhorse has cooked millions of meals in the wilderness, and has become a favorite among serious backpackers. Why? A patented quick-priming burner, the self-purging aluminium pump and a built in magnetic cleaning needle are all features that ensure reliability and ease of use in all conditions. The single jet multifuel technology provides versatility throughout the world. Thanks to the collapsible turbine shaped pot support, a folding flame control and a new stuff bag, pack size is minimal.
Despite the small format, OPTIMUS NOVA offers stability for large sized pots. So go out and get cooking! The Optimus Nova+ is exactly what the name suggest - a stove with the performance of the original award-winning Optimus Nova plus a little more. The Optimus Nova+ features our field-proven quick priming, patented burner with built-in magnetic cleaning needle. It has been upgraded with the new Powerline control valve that uses the fuel hose as an extension to the valve. Flame control is now done by simply twisting the green control at the end of the hose. Pair this up with Optimus fuel bottles which are suitable for transporting and pressurizing all kinds of liquid fuel and come with a child-safe cap. Thanks to a unique hardening process, these bottles are strong and durable, yet surprisingly light weight (not included)

The optim novaBy: Angelo on 2 May 2017Purchased this stove after a long decision between the nova and msr dragon fly glad i got the nova what a great stove only tried it in the back yard but it was so easy to light. I have read many reviews on it on various sites where it was labled hard and finicky to light but i didnt think so. Also great service from wild eath cheers
By: Angelo on 2 May 2017I think it is an amazing stove as soon as I got it I fired it up and it fired up with ease. I haven't not used it on a hike yet but I'm sure it will preform well
Great Expedition/Back Country Stove for all seasonBy: Joachim on 14 November 2016Better all round performance than any other stove I own/ed (MSR Whisperlite International and various Gas canister stoves). I still have my original Optimus Nova which I bought over 10 years ago and it works perfectly as well as my Trangia Multifuel attachment (made by optimus) which I also recommend very highly as it is extremely efficient. Great lightweight stove requiring minimal maintenance and burns almost any liquid fuel available.
By: Gerard on 4 August 2015Haven't taken it out yet, tried it out in the yard, easy to use, simple, rugged, well built design. Wild Earth had the best price by far and even better on special.
AwesomeBy: Steven on 31 December 2014I bought an Optimus Nova after using a single MSR Whisperlite continuously for 25 years. The Nova is stable with a wide base, easy to light and operate. It has simmer controls and you can cut the fuel quickly by flipping the bottle over. The best thing is the magnetic valve that clears a blocked jet. It's a touch on the loud side, but boils water as fast as anything else I've used. Very happy.
