OUR STORY

Wild Earth was founded in 2004 by two adventure enthusiasts, Jimmy and Shannon, who opened their first store on the Gold Coast as a hub for like-minded explorers. What began as a small community store has grown into one of Australia’s leading independent outdoor retailers.

From the beginning, the focus has been simple: provide reliable, high-performance gear that helps people get outside with confidence. Today, we see ourselves as more than just a retailer, but a trusted guide for every kind of adventure. As an independent business, we carefully select the brands we stock and test products in real conditions to ensure they perform when it matters most.
