Trangia 27-7 hard anodisedBy: Greg Christlo on 9 November 2018Been using Trangia stoves regularly since the early 80’s. easily the most practical and user friendly outdoor cooking system. Always works no matter what the conditions, maintenance free, compact, nearly impossible to break and cooks everything well. This 27 is my first “small one” for solo trips; works just like old faithful and it’s cute! The hard anodised pots are light and easy to clean; everything in one bundle that just works no matter what. If only all gear was this good.
By: Mary on 29 October 2016My favourite piece of camping gear :) The design is so simple and it doesn't take long to figure out the best ways to maximise/minimise the flame on this stove. It is also amazingly windproof
By: roderick j wallace on 3 October 2016very happy cooks well no problem in windy conditions
'tis actually storm proof!By: sturat on 13 June 2016I used to love my gas canister burner but I needed something that would work in windy conditions. I just returned from a 9-day bike ride along beaches and headlands and even in 30km/h winds the trangia worked a treat. That's all I was really after, but I got so much more... the whole kit weighs far less than my previous cooking/eating kit, and packs away half the size. The bowls and plate are sooo easy to clean. It is far more stable than my old burner. Metho doubles as fire starter and antiseptic. It took me a few goes to work out the simmer ring, but it works great. The girl doesn't like it cause of the soot, but that made me discover baby wipes... which are worth their weight in gold.
