Store Manager - Wild Earth Brisbane

Wild Earth is built for the outdoors - and our Brisbane store is seeking a Store Manager who can set the tempo: high standards, strong culture, great energy, consistent results and has a passion for everything outdoors.

The role (what you'll actually be doing)

You'll own the day-to-day running of the Brisbane store - keeping it trade-ready, firing on all cylinders, and customer-focused. That means strong routines around opening/closing, cash controls, store standards and security, plus being the calm decision-maker when customer situations get complex (returns, exchanges, warranties, escalations).

You'll keep stock and process tight, partnering with the Inventory Coordinator to maintain a safe, organised back-of-house, strong inventory integrity, and seamless click & collect and pick & pack standards.

You'll bring the VM plan to life with pace and pride - and keep it looking sharp between activations.

You'll own performance: daily sales, wages %, shrink, reporting and the coaching that turns numbers into results. And you'll lead in store safety standards - physical and psychosocial - with real follow-through.

Most importantly: you'll build a team that strives for wins, recruit well, onboard accurately, coach in the moment, develop your leaders (ASM/3IC), and help us maintain the culture people want to be part of.

About You

This role is made for an experienced Store Manager who loves the buzz of a busy shop floor and gets genuine satisfaction from building a team that performs to the highest standard and enjoys being there.

To thrive in this role, you'll bring:

Solid retail leadership experience (Store Manager / Assistant Store Manager level) and a customer-first mindset.
Proven success leading a team to hit targets - and doing it through coaching, not chaos.
Strong commercial instincts - you read the numbers, lead the action, push when it's time, reset when it's needed, and lift results without flattening the vibe.
A calm, capable approach to complex customer resolutions.
Strong operational discipline (cash control, stock accuracy, compliance, routines).
A genuine passion for the outdoors (camping, hiking, anything adventure-adjacent) - and a drive to keep learning product.
