"This is, apparently the same product as the skin slick, but in a larger can. I've been using it in an overly hot Sydney summer for some long runs and it's great. No issues with chafing at all. Not greasy and doesn't mark clothing. The one ting to watch out for is that you definitely want to take their recommendation to stand on a towel when apply, cos those bathroom tiles can get slippery for days otherwise!"
"Best Damn Hiking socks I have ever Used! I bought my first set of these just over 2 years ago they are still going strong this is my second set. The compression ability on these socks allows long hikes coupled with a great pair of hiking boots you can just go for miles get them wet and they dry really fast. Very comfortable to wear as well. As a Landscape photographer hiking to the middle of nowhere and back through all types of conditions yeah just give them a go.
I can't go into any sort of technical review because honestly, I have no idea how to do that all I can do is give my honest opinion."Love it! Got this for a Christmas present as I need a MTB hydration that would carry food and tools. I've got Hydration vests, but they don't suit riding around all day. This pack is great! With the 3ltr bladder you can go for hours without refilling and the opening is large enough to put ice in. The storage is everywhere and has plenty of space for what you need out on the trail. It has also replaced my day hiking pack. Would recommend, thinking of trying it out on my next ultra instead of my hydration vest."
My only concern is the string which holds the sides to the back. A female friends 6 month old Adventure Vest 4.0 pack had the string break on a run which was impossible to fix on the trail. UD replaced it at no charge. The lesson is, keep an eye on wear and tear. If UD supplied replacement string I'd just keep some permanently in the bottom of my pack. All up I'd give it a 8.5/10" As a top heavy 100kg trail runner the comfort and design if this vest is fabulous. Having gone from trying to stuff all my mandatory gear into a CamelBak best this UD model easy holds everything with ease. The ability to carry my Black Diamond Z poles on my chest so I can easily fit and remove them is icing on the cake.
