For helmets, WaveCel® helmet technology adds advanced impact protection through a collapsible cellular structure designed to absorb rotational forces. MFI® or Magnetic Face Mask Integration creates a secure seal between your goggles and facemask using hidden magnets. This helps keep cold air out, reduces fogging, and improves overall comfort on windy or stormy days.
WaveCel® is Anon’s advanced helmet safety system designed to help reduce impact forces during a crash. It uses a flexible cellular structure inside the helmet that works to absorb energy and manage rotational forces, offering a higher level of protection than traditional foam liners.
MIPS, or Multi-directional Impact Protection System, uses a low-friction layer inside the helmet that allows slight movement between the helmet and head during angled impacts, helping reduce rotational forces. Anon offers helmets with either MIPS or WaveCel®, both designed to improve protection by managing rotational energy, but using different construction methods to achieve this.
